Le projet de Damon Albarn et Jamie Hewlett a fait appel à de nombreux invités tels que Tame Impala, Bad Bunny, Stevie Nicks ou encore Beck.

Après avoir dévoilé le premier extrait intitulé Cracker Island, Gorillaz a partagé son nouveau single, New Gold, enregistré avec Tame Impala et Bootie Brown.
