Là où Tremor explorait déjà des territoires vastes entre techno, ambient et shoegaze électronique, Midnight Versions en accentue la dimension contemplative.
Les rythmes se font plus feutrés, parfois presque absents, laissant place à des nappes étirées, des basses sourdes et une tension constante, comme suspendue dans l’air.
