Chrissie Hynde, la leader et la cofondatrice du groupe The Pretenders, a sorti son album de reprises intitulé « Duets Special » le 17 octobre  2025 via Rhino.

Pour ce projet, l’artiste a fait appel a un casting exceptionnel dont Brandon Flowers (The Killers), Cat Power, Dave Gahan (Depeche Mode), Debbie Harry (Blondie), Alan Sparhawk (Low), Shirley Manson (Garbage), Cat Power, Dan Auerbach des Black Keys et le regretté Mark Lanegan.

Chrissie Hynde et ses invités interprètent des chansons d’Elvis Presley, Low, 10cc, The Righteous Brothers, Billy Paul et Brenda Holloway.

Elle reprend également avec Cat Power, le single de Morrissey, First Of The Gang To Die.
