Doves a annoncé la sortie de son sixième album studio, Constellations For The Lonely, le 14 février 2025 chez EMI North.

Le guitariste Jez Williams a précisé : « C’est un album assez sombre. Nous avons commencé à l’écrire après avoir annulé la tournée « The Universal Want » (2020), en raison des problèmes de santé mental de Jimi (Goodwin) ».

Le groupe de Manchester – composé de Jimi Goodwin (chant/basse) et des jumeaux Jez (guitare, chant) et Andy Williams (batterie, chant) – a partagé un premier extrait intitulé Renegades.
