The Umbrellas a fait ses débuts sur la scène pop de San Francisco en 2019.

Le quatuor a publié son deuxième album baptisé Fairweather Friend, le  26 janvier 2024 via Slumberland Records & Tough Love Records.

La groupe jangle-pop devrait plaire aux fans de The Pastels, Comet Gain, Orange Juice, Belle And Sebastian ou The Sundays.
