La voix de Robert Smith s’invite sur les mélodies électo de Gorillaz.

Le leader de The Cure est le dernier artiste en date à collaborer avec le groupe virtuel britannique de Damon Albarn et Jamie Hewlett.

Intitulé Strange Timez, le morceau est le sixième extrait de Song Machine, le nouveau projet de Gorillaz présenté sous forme de série musicale.

Lancé en janvier dernier, il célèbre les 20 ans du groupe en mettant différents artistes à l’honneur. Parmi eux, Peter Hook sur Aries, slowthai et Slaves et slowthai sur Momentary Bliss ou encore Fatoumata Diawara sur Désolé.

Par ailleurs, Damon Albarn a confirmé la sortie le 23 octobre, d’un album baptisé ‘Song Machine: Season One – Strange Timez’.
