Beggars Arkive annonce la réédition prochaine de The Frenz Experiment du groupe The Fall.

La nouvelle version comprendra l’album original sorti en 1988 ainsi que des singles et des B-Sides.

The Frenz Experiment sera disponible en édition deluxe, 2CD et 2LP.

La version CD comprend également une session BBC inédite, la reprise des Beatles «A Day In The Life», ainsi qu’un livret de 24 pages avec de nouvelles interviews.

En 1987, The Fall est entré dans le Top 30 des singles britanniques avec sa reprise Northern Soul, “There A Ghost In My House“.

Le single «Hit The North» deviendra un hymne dans la même période. Ces deux titres figurent sut l’album sorti fin février 1988

«Je suis tombé sur une critique de Frenz Experiment, disant à quel point cela aurait pu être génial, comment cela aurait pu être comme l’Electric Warrior de T. Rex. Je n’ai jamais essayé de faire un album comme T-Rex. Je ne vois pas l’utilité de quelqu’un d’essayer de faire un album comme T-Rex, bien que les gens le fassent. Cela ne me dérange pas quand les journalistes font des comparaisons justes, quand ils font bien leur boulot. Mais comparer Frenz à Electric Warrior est tout simplement idiot.
