Doves a annoncé son retour et la sortie de son nouvel album studio.

The Universal Want sort le 11 septembre via IMPERIAL / Virgin EMI. Le groupe de Manchesrer a également partagé un nouveau single intitulé “Prisoners” et son vidéo clip réalisé par Jack Lightfoot.

The Universal Want sera le cinquième album du groupe, après Kingdom of Rust publié en 2009. Il a été enregistré dans les studios du groupe en Angleterre et produit par le trio et Dan Austin.
