Le chanteur de Galaxie 500, Luna, Dean Wareham et Cheval Sombre (aka Chris Porpora) ont enregistré l’album intitulé « Dean Wareham Vs. Cheval Sombre ». Il s’agit également d’un disque de reprises qualifié de western rêve pop.

Il a été enregistré à Los Angeles au Palmetto Recordings avec le producteur Jason Quever (Papercuts, Beach House).

Le projet voit aussi la participation de la femme et compagne de Dean Wareham, Britta Phillips ( Dean & Britta et Luna), Anthony LaMarca (The War on Drugs) et Will Halsey (Sugarcandy Mountain).

Les 10 titres sortiront le 26 octobre 2018 sur Double Feature Records.
