Public Image Ltd célèbre son 40ème anniversaire avec la sortie d’un coffret intitulé The Public Image Is Rotten (Songs From The Heart). Le coffret comprend des singles, des b-sides, des raretés, des mixages alternatifs, des sessions radio, des mixes inédits, du matériel live, et bien plus encore. L’édition CD de la collection comprend deux DVD comprenant des vidéos promotionnelles et deux concerts complets.

La collection sera également disponible en version 6 LP avec code de téléchargement.

The Public Image Is Rotten (Songs From The Heart) sortira sous la forme d’ une boîte en aluminium noir et or et comprend également un livre de 72 pages, une affiche et des gravures.

PiL a aussi récemment annoncé son intention de projeter le documentaire The Public Image is Rotten dans le monde entier. Les projections aux États-Unis et au Canada auront lieu “plus tard cette année” selon le site officiel du groupe.

La tournée mondiale de PiL débutera la semaine prochaine à Bristol. Aucune date nord-américaine n’a été annoncée.
