Salt a été élaboré majoritairement au Treehouse Studios du réalisateur Connor Seidel. Le réalisateur a, semble-t-il, encouragé le groupe à plonger dans ses riches archives pour activer leur créativité.

Le groupe montréalais a partagé son premier extrait intitulé Alco.
