Squid sortira son troisième album Cowards le 7 février 2025 chez Warp Records.

Le disque a été enregistré aux Church Studios à Londres avec la productrice Marta Salogni (Bjork, Black Midi, Bon Iver…), puis mixé à Seattle par John McEntire. Dan Carey, s’est également chargé de la production supplémentaire.

Le groupe de post punk expérimentale de Brighton a partagé le premier extrait, Crispy Skin.
