Dance Craze est un film concert sorti en 1981, enregistré dans divers lieux au plus fort du mouvement 2Tone. Il propose des enregistrements live exclusifs de The Specials, Madness, The Selecter, The Beat, Bad Manners et The Bodysnatchers.

Réalisé par Joe Massot, Dance Craze est sorti à l’origine dans une sélection de cinémas à travers le Royaume-Uni, les États-Unis et l’Australie. Un album est sorti à la même période (sur cassette et vinyle).

Un programme de réédition restaure le film et propose des éditions de luxe de l’audio sur vinyle et CD.

Dance Craze sera disponible sous forme d’un coffret Blu-ray + DVD . Le film bénéficie désormais des mixages stéréo et surround originaux remasterisés par Clive Langer et Alan Winstanley, ainsi qu’un nouveau mixage Dolby Atmos.

Les éditions de luxe 3CD et 3LP présentent la bande originale du film ainsi que 27 pistes inédites. Les deux coffrets sont livrés avec une copie de l’affiche originale.

Les coffrets audio sont publiés le 24 mars via Chrysalis et l’édition Blu-ray / DVD est publiée par le BFI le 27 mars.
