Le premier album de The Style Council « Café Bleu » sera réédité le 30 Janvier 2026 via UMR / Polydor.

Sorti à l’origine en mars 1984, l’album sera disponible dans un coffret limité 6 CD comprenant des titres inédits, des démos et des B-sides.

Le coffret comportera, outre l’album original, la compilation Introducing The Style Council regroupant les premiers singles du groupe de Paul Weller et Mick Talbot dont Speak Like A Child.

Le disque des démos et inédits comprendra notamment la première version de « Long Hot Summer » (datant d’août 1982), « Boy Hairdresser » (écrite pour Tracie Young) et une version longue de « The Paris Match ». On trouvera également des instrumentaux de Mick Talbot.

Les enregistrements live incluent des performances enregistrées par la BBC en 1983 et 1984.

Une édition vinyle 3 LP sera aussi disponible.
