The Boomtown Rats ont annoncé la sortie d’une compilation « The First Fifty Years: Songs Of Boomtown Glory ».

L’album sera disponible sous la forme d’un 2LP de 24 titres et d’un 2CD de 27 titres, le 19 septembre 2025, via UMR/Mercury.

Le disque sera une rétrospective de leurs 50 ans de carrière, de leur premier single « Lookin’ After No. 1 » au plus récent, « There’s No Tomorrow Like Today », sorti en 2023.
