Skullcrusher est le projet de la new-yorkaise Helen Ballentine. L’autrice-compositrice-interprète sortira son premier album, Quiet the Room, le 14 octobre prochain, via Secretly Canadian.

Quiet the Room fait suite à son mini album homonyme publié en 2020 ainsi qu’à l’EP Storm in Summer paru en 2021.

Simultanément avec l’annonce de son premier album, Skullcrusher a dévoilé l’extrait Whatever Fits Together.
