A Certain Ratio a annoncé la sortie prochaine d’un nouvel album baptisé ACR Loco. Leur dernier album studio Made Up a été publié en 2008.
ACR Loco a été enregistré par le trio de base, Jez Kerr, Martin Moscrop et Donald Johnson avec les membres qui les accompagnent en tournée.
Plusieurs invités ont participé à son enregistrement parmi lesquels, Gabe Gurnsey de Factory Floor, Maria Uzor et Gemma Cullingford de Sink Ya Teeth, Mike Joyce (The Smiths) et Eric Random.
Parallèlement à cette annonce, A Certain Ratio a partagé une nouvelle chanson intitulée «Always In Love».
