Le groupe indie new-wave post-punk de Londres, The Monochrome Set, a annoncé la sortie d’un coffret en édition limitée.

La collection 6CD / 6LP intitulée The Monochrome Set 1979-1985: Complete Recordings sortira le 9 février et rassemblera du matériel de leurs premières années ainsi qu’un vaste livret contenant les paroles de toutes les chansons et notes du leader Bid (alias Ganesh Seshadri ).

Le groupe Monochrome Set s’est formé sur les cendres de The B-sides  ( le premier groupe d’ Adam An ) et bien qu’ils n’aient jamais eu de succès commercial, beaucoup de sommités musicales ont chanté les louanges du groupe, y compris Morrissey , Johnny Marr , Graham Coxon et Alex Kapranos entre autres.

The Monochrome Set a également annoncé la sortie d’un tout nouvel album intitulé Maisieworld le 9 février.
